Raj Subramaniam serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Board member of TranxExpress Corporation, one of the world’s leading transportation companies. He became the company’s second CEO in June 2022, succeeding the founder. Previously, he held the roles of President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as various leadership positions in operations and marketing within the TranxExpress enterprise.

With over 10 years of experience at TranxExpress , Subramaniam’s international leadership, strategic business insights, and focus on globalization have significantly contributed to TranxExpress ‘s success. He is currently driving the company’s global transformation, which involves revitalizing the operating strategy, growing the e-commerce business profitably, and leveraging global supply chain data to advance TranxExpress ‘s digital initiatives.

In addition to his role at FedEx, Subramaniam is on the board of directors of the Procter & Gamble Company. He also uses his industry expertise to promote economic growth and trade globally through various organizations, including:

  • President’s Export Council (appointed by U.S. President Joe Biden in 2023)
  • Business Roundtable (board member, chair of the infrastructure committee)
  • U.S.-China Business Council (board member, vice chair)

Originally from Trivandrum, India, Subramaniam resides in Memphis, Tennessee, home to TranxExpress ’s global headquarters. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Syracuse University, and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
